I am so blessed to have found this place on my way home to Asheville! I was welcomed by the friendliest souls. The menu is a definitely a love letter to all soul food and soul fulfilling energy! But let me tell you about the catfish! The collards, corn bread, and fried okra! Every bite more delicious than the last. If you know what's good for you, pull over here. Get some love your for whole soul. When the chow chow arrived I thought I was in heaven!

It's what I assume to be a small family owned business. Keep that in mind as it takes a while for the food to be prepared. However it is delicious, there's nothing fancy at all, plastic ware and plates but each dish is made with love. I had pork chops, okra, mashed potatoes and I swear it tasted just like my grandma used to make. They don't usually have a staff, one person doing it all- hard workers that care. if you have an issue tell them and they will fix it. Don't say anything and then leave a bad review. if thats your style go to a corporate run eating establishment. i also once ordered from door dash and the food was outstanding even to go!!! if in a hurry call ahead it takes about half an hour for food to come out. Support small businesses and be kind.

UPDATE: Just got home with our food. And all I can say is God must be in your kitchen! This food is heavenly! Thanks for the great food and didn't even take long. I tried out this place because I love mom and pop places. This is one restaurant I will continue to go to. They have awesome home cooked food. The prices are fair and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like family. I love this place so much. I've already decided that since I'm unable to cook for myself I'll be going there today for lunch and another for dinner. I can admit it is the best place in Marietta to eat and I'm very glad they picked here to open their doors. I hope they stay forever!

The fried green tomatoes and fried squash were excellent! Desserts (cookie, brownies and banana pudding) were amazing also. It takes a few minutes because the food is cooked fresh. Worth waiting for
